Luke Daniels is a young illustrator from Bampton in Oxfordshire who graduated from Swindon College in 2013 with an Oxford Brookes Degree in Sequential Narrative Illustration.  Luke makes large drawings which he digitizes and reworks into the frames for his expressive illustration work. Immersed in the language and invention of the graphic novel as well as mythology, Luke worked with artist Cendrine Colin whilst her exhibition SHIFT was in the AYYO gallery space in 2013 and during his residency made a series of works in response to her powerful and politicized works.

In 2014 Luke completed the OYAP, Oxfordshire Youth Arts Partnership, Stepping Up programme, which trains young arts professionals to be creative leaders. He has taught illustration for teens at Rural Graffiti at Overlay Studio. Luke had a solo exhibition, DELI PAPER DOODLES at AYYO in November 2015.

Luke now works as a graphic designer and tattoo artist and is currently illustrating a book and a video game. He was a lead artist on the AYYO project ILLUSTORY in 2016-17 and as an outcome of that project was awared a solo exhibition in the gallery at The Theatre Chipping Norton which took place in July 2017.
