The residency fee does not include the cost of accommodation. The studio is beside a small campsite which overlooks the Evenlode Valley and gives you 24 hour access to the studio. Artists pay campsite fees at a reduced daily rate of £12 per night if they wish to stay on the site. Fees for camping must be paid in cash to the campsite manager on the day of arrival.

A tent, bedding and cooking equipment is supplied by us. A deposit of £100 is asked for use of equipment in case of damage or loss. This is returned once kit is checked on leaving.

If preferred there are plenty of B&B and AirB&B in the area.

DWELL and Remote Residency artists conduct the majority of their residency from their own home or work space, with an open studio event held in the project space at the end of it.

There is ample parking and a studio bicycle that artists can use. Oxford and London are both within easy reach by train. There are lovely walks in the ancient landscape surrounding the studio; the area is rich in megaliths and standing stones, including the Rollright Stones. Stonehenge, Bath and Avebury are within striking distance. Local shops, pubs and cafés are within walking distance of the studio.
